ColorEdge

These are Eizo's professional series displays. They provide exceptional quality and evenness across the screen combined with great calibration options. The CG models are shipped with a monitor hood and with ColorNavigator, Eizo's display calibration utility, so when combined with a measuring instrument such as an i1 or Spyder, consistent viewing is assured for the life of the monitor. The CG247W and CG277W are equipped with a built in calibrator so that you never need to attach an external calibration tool. You can also schedule auto calibration out of hours to ensure you are always working in a calibrated environment

All of these models are individually calibrated at the factory and the lookup table data is stored inside the monitor for later reference by colour calibration software. This ensures that calibration can always return the monitor to its factory state and will provide a stable editing platform over the life of the display.

As someone who works on one of these monitors (CG245) every day I can vouch for their quality as a practitioner, not just a salesman. The added benefit of built in calibration and ColorNavigator's ability to easily load different monitor profiles and conditions make this a very versatile work horse. I would not be without mine!

CS & CX series Color Edge

EIZO has introduced an upgrade path into the ColorEdge series. Rather than paying full price for a hood and Color Navigator software upfront. You can buy a ColorEdge grade monitor and buy the calibration software and hood separately when you need or want them. If you already have a calibration tool this is a great way to get into the professional range at a lower cost. The CS230 is a 23" sRGB colour accurate monitor with an IPS LED backlight panel and built in correction sensor. The CS240 is a wide gamut (99% Adobe RGB(1998) colourspace) 24" monitor. The CX241 & CX271  are LED IPS pannels which both have a built in self correction sensor.
