Print Coating – 400ml can $32 inc GST
We use Print Shield for coating our canvas and other fine art materials that require a protective coating. It has been tested by the Wilhelm Institute and has been shown to increase the longevity of prints by up to 2x.
It provides moisture, UV and some abrasive protection without affecting the surface quality of the base material. It is not a replacement for a film laminate which is sometimes used to provide a plastic barrier between the viewer and the print. This may be more suitable for images that are in high traffic areas or are more likely to be subject to damage.
PremierArtTM Print Shield is a lacquer based protective spray designed specifically for ink jet prints. Print Shield protects all ink jet prints from moisture, UV, light, humidity, atmospheric contaminants, scuffing and fingerprints. Its low solids formulation maintains the original look of the surface of the print, eliminating gloss differential. It is a must for every canvas and fine art ink jet print that needs protection. Also works great on photo papers.
