EIZO MONITORS
ICC Imagetec is proud to be able to supply EIZO LCD monitors to the Tasmanian Graphics market. These monitors are world renown for their uniformity and colour accuracy due to built in 10/14 bit signal processing within the monitors. This provides greater control over the gamma and colour temperature controls on the monitor so that the calibration does not need to occur in the Video card of your host PC. This means no more banding in your gradients on screen and greater detail resolution in the shadow portions of the image.
For optimum results these monitors should be driven from a computer equipped with a DVI connector as a digital video signal provides the cleanest, sharpest image.

Eizo Monitors are available in two series
Flexscan:
Flexscan models are available from 17" up to 30". They are divided into the Standard Flexscan and the Premium Flexscan. The standard Flexscans are a great introduction to the EIZO line. They provide great out of the box quality and will exceed the quality found on any other monitor in the same size range. The Premium Flexscans offer a step up in quality and performance. The new SX range offer wide colour gamut of up to 97% of the Adobe RGB colour space making them ideal for photographers and print designers. They also include a Digital Uniformity circuit (DUE) to produce even tone and colour across the entire monitor.
ColorEdge
These are Eizo's professional series displays. They provide exceptional quality and evenness across the screen combined with great calibration options. All of these monitors are compatible with ColorNavigator, Eizo's display calibration utility so when combined with a measuring instrument such as an i1 or Spyder, consistent viewing is assured for the life of the monitor.
All of these models are individually calibrated at the factory and the lookup table data is stored inside the monitor for later reference by colour calibration software.
As Someone who works on one of these monitors (CG210) every day I can vouch for their quality as a practitioner, not just a salesman. I would not be without mine!
