1 x "Origami" ambient light hood. Setting a precise contrast is one of the key factors in monitor calibration. Reflection and glare greatly reduce contrast, rendering monitor to print matching impossible. The Origami hood is cleverly designed from heavy matte black cardboard for maximum absorption of ambient light.

Unobtrusive Speakers

0.5 watt speakers are hidden within the monitor cabinet, so you can enjoy sound while bezel size is kept to a minimum. If you require greater volume, the separate i-Sound L3 sound unit with dual 0.9 watt speakers can be attached to the bottom of the monitor.

EIZO conducted a survey (see white paper) in 2008 to establish the relationship between eye fatigue and monitor use. The results showed that features like Auto EcoView, ergonomic stands, and the EyeCare utility helped reduce eye fatigue and improved work efficiency by 12.5%.

Simple Color Matching with EIZO EasyPIX

The EIZO EasyPIX color matching tool is ideal for digital SLR camera users looking to match colors between their monitors and photo prints. With the EasyPIX software you can match the monitor’s color and brightness with that of the photo paper and then create a monitor profile with the bundled EX1 color sensor. No expertise in color management is required and the profile can be shared with image retouching software to ensure accurate results when printing.
